Tuiliks

Tuliks are waterproof pieces of apparel designed to minimize water entry into the cockpit for use in (but not limited to), Greenland rolling. They are often used in place of a spray skirt for rolling, as they allow for less water entry into the cockpit vs a conventional spray skirt.

We sell two brands of tuiliks, both of which are made in Canada. The first, Seaspray Gear, is a new company based in Eastern Canada. Standard SeaSpray tuliks can be made to order in any paddler or cockpit size, and comes in black, blue or red 3mm neoprene, with there option of a front pocket in three colours.

SeaSpray also makes a Lexcell by Yulex version of a tuilik, which uses a natural, plant-based material. Lexcell tuiliks are available in black only with an optional waterproof front pocket in a choice of three colours. They are a little thicker and spongier, and probably more buoyant than the standard neoprene tuiliks. 

The second brand, Brooks Paddle Gear, sells tuiliks through us that are branded with the Rebel logo. The Brooks tuiliks we carry are designed to fit the Naja (small ocean cockpit), or the Ilaga/TOC/Zegul (large ocean cockpit). We do not carry Brooks tuiliks for keyhole cockpits. All Brooks tuiliks are made of 3mm neoprene and are available in a variety of colours.
