Choosing a colour for your kayak
Share
Customers who place an order for a Rebel kayak before the end of the year will have the option of customizing their kayak with the colour of their choosing!
- Deck 1 (lateral)
- Deck 2 (medial)
- Hull
- Seam
- Coaming
- Seat
- Deck lines
- Decals/logo
Choose the RAL number for the colour of your choice for each of the first 6 kayak features above off any RAL website, for example: https://www.ralcolor.com . As a verification, please also refer to the colours on the RAL site used by Rebel: https://www.noxan.pl/farby/paleta-ral.html . Clear gelcoat over a carbon or kevlar weave is also an option.
Deckline and Decal/logo colours can be among the standard colours: black, white, grey, red, orange, yellow, green, and blue at no extra charge. Wood patterning is charged +$250CAD extra for sandwich plus lay-ups but is included at no extra cost in HD lay-ups.
Two-colour decks
A Greenland kayak can be ordered with two colours on the deck in two ways: either they follow the same pattern shown in the wooden deck kayaks (=patterned), or the front deck is a different colour than the rear deck (=marluk).
Touring and sea kayaks from the Husky line use a two-tone deck pattern which allows for a choice of different lateral (along the sides) and medial (along the middle) colours on the deck. Specify the lateral (deck 1) and medial (deck 2) deck colours when ordering. The lateral colour in the foredeck is always the same colour as the back deck (aft deck) colour.
